Alliance Hive Rules & Strategy
The positioning of our bases within the alliance hive is a key part of our collective defense and organization. Please follow these guidelines for hive formation.
Standard Hive Formation: Tight Alignment
Under normal circumstances, all bases at the hive location should be aligned directly next to each other, leaving no empty space between them.
- Why do we do this? A tightly packed hive prevents enemy players from using teleport scrolls to place their base directly in the middle of our territory. This forces them to attack from the perimeter, making our hive much easier to defend.
Special Circumstance: Spaced Formation
There are specific situations, such as during certain in-game events, where alliance leadership (R4/R5) may ask members to spread their bases out around the hive.
- How to spread out correctly: When asked to do this, move your base away from the central cluster, leaving a gap. The space should be just large enough that another base cannot fit into the open area. This tactic is used to control a larger map area or for specific event strategies. Always wait for direction from leadership before doing this.
